The Essex versions of Skutatoi are pictured below. These are not the shields they came with, I put OG shields on them, otherwise they wouldn't match the rest of the unit. These mix in fine with the OG. As the norm, when comparing Essex to OG in this range, the heights match up well. The Essex range has fewer poses with the Essex figures being more detailed than the OG counterparts.
The miniature on the left is slightly miscast, the face is sort of whacky. Must have been a old battle wound. Also, I don't really care for the way he is holding his spear. The leader type figure is good, as is the front rank guy on the right.
