Here are a few photos I took to use up the roll of film, some of the pictures are washed out, I'll replace them eventually. In the Hobby hints section I have a little write up about how I painted these.

As you can see I gave the youthful skirmishers and the Shaman the less combat worthy reed shields. I figure that the skirmishers can't afford any better. The Shaman is protected by his pagan gods so he doesn't need to spend much on shields.

All these figures are Foundry. The shields are hand painted, simple designs - they go quicker like that.

I have a bag of Old Glory's Ancient Germans laying around here too, they aren't as good though as these miniatures. They'll be just fine for the role of "rear rank/first casualties" models.
