Our Opinion:
This game is very well known. Its
simplicity is its greatest asset. It can be played as a solitaire or
with a crowd. We found that it is most enjoyable with a large crowd.
(If you can't show off your jenga skill to a crowd, then why bother?)
Hecklers in the crowd should be expected. And when the stack is really
high, nothing quiets a crowded party room like moving a piece that
rotates the entire tower before you free it from the stack -- the
collective exhale when you successfully place your piece at the top can
get strong enough to topple the tower without you.
The zombies all agree that
the best part of the game is watching someone else crash the tower.
They also agree that the worst part is restacking the tower to play it
again (That's the way the cookie...er... tower topples!)
I recommend buying this game
if you have lots of friends who can stack blocks as they party. Be
certain to shop around for a good price. I have seen prices vary from
$10 to $20 depending upon the store.
