Vampiric Society is divided in clans, 13 Clans to be more exact, in the beginning those clans were The Assamites, The Brujah, The Cappadocians, The Followers of Set, The Gangrel, The Lasombra, The Malkavian, The Nosferatu, `The Ravnos,The Salubri, The Toreador, the Tzimisce and The Ventrue.

In modern times, the place of the Cappadoccians have been usurped by the Giovanni, and those of the Salubri by the Tremere, the few Salubri that are left are considered a Blood line, since they no longer have an antediluvian who ensures their place as a Clan into the Vampiric society.

Also exists the so called Blood lines, which were began for a fourth Generation cainite, there are myriad of them, but here only will be listed the most famous.

Since the dark ages, Vampiric Clans created groups, seven clans formed the Camarilla, which objective is to rule the world from the shadows, keeping a masquerade from human eyes. In opposition exists the Sabbat, formed by the Tzimisce and Lasombra and the antitribu, those rogues of the other clans, . Other clans choose to stay aside, they are the independent ones.
