Curses
Amplify Damage: Level 1
Requirements= None
"Amplifies damage taken by afflicted". This increases the damage done to the accursed creatures for a limited amount of time. Previously this skill's damage increased when raising its level but it has been modified so 100% damage is dealt regardless of skill level, and the duration and radius now increase instead.
Dim Vison: Level 6
Requirements= None
"Reduces vision of afflicted". Will reduce monsters' vision within radius of the curse for a set duration, thus reducing their line of sight and the foe's ability to launch projectile attacks.
Weaken: Level 6
Requirements= Amplify Damage{1}
"Reduces damage potential of afflicted". This curse lowers the effected monster's strength by 50% which causes them to deal half as much damage as they otherwise would. Even at skill level one this curse has a huge radius.
Iron Maiden: Level 12
Requirements= Amplify Damage{1}
"Afflicted harms oneself". Curse with similar effect to that of Reflect in Hellfire whereby melee damage dealt by foe is reflected back to themselves. Does not work on ranged attacks. The cursed will still deal full damage to the Necromancer, they'll just be hurting themselves at the same time as well. At skill level one they take 50% of the damage they deal, at level two it's 100%. Although specifics are not known on damage returned at slvls higher than two it will rise above 100%.
Terror: Level 12
Requirements= Amplify Damage{1} Weaken {6}
"Afflicted runs away in terror". Causes cursed monsters to flee from the Necromancer {not his minions} and the radius and duration of curse will increase with the skill level.
Confuse: 18
Requirements= Dim Vision {6}
"Afflicted attack random targets". It dazes your enemy causing them to attack other random enemies. Similar to Hellfire's Berserk spell.
Life Tap: Level 18
Requirements= Amplify Damage {1} Iron Maiden {12}
"Afflicted returns life to attacker". Taps into the life of your target. You will gain the hit points they lose as you attack them. Kind of like Diablo's items "of the Vampire" only with life instead of mana.
Attract: Level 24
Requirements= Dim Vision {6} Confuse {18}
"Afflicted becomes universal target". Will cause cursed creatures to attract other foes into attacking it. Will not work on bosses or super uniques however. {Updated: 23 Jan}
Decrepify: Level 24
Requirements= Amplify Damage {1} Weaken {6} Terror {12}
"Weakens the joints of afflicted". Slows your foes' footspeed, but not their missile attacks, so sort of arthritic monsters:) Novel idea. {Updated: 18 Dec}
Lower Resist: Level 30
Requirements= Amplify Damage {1} Weaken {6} Iron Maiden {12} Terror {12} Reverse Vampire {18} Decrepify {24}
"Lowers the afflicted resistance to magic" Sounds like an extremely useful skill in PvP games. At Slvl 1 the radius will reach 4.6 yards for a duration of 20 seconds, reducing resistance to all by -63% and costing 22 mana.
