Cleveland
The Heart of Rock and Roll
Cleveland has long been a city branded by a bad reputation, similar to Detroit’s, but in a much blander sense. Cleveland’s main enemy has been boredom. With the recent completion of projects such as Jacobs Field and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as well as the considerable positive attention Drew Carey has brought to the city, Cleveland has become a city again. For the first time in half a century, the population of the city is growing again.
A recent Sabbat siege eliminated a lot of the city’s Kindred population. The combined efforts of new Prince Veronica Weatherby, Brujah elder Xerxes and a handful of travelling Archons (who lost two of their number in the effort) saved the town from Sabbat control. They are still recovering from the strain.
There are 9 street influences here for any purpose you may be interested in.
Key Kindred:
Alaistair
Brujah Anarch newly arrived from the west coast, he is the only one who has openly expressed his disapproval of Xerxes’ subservience to Veronica.
Dailey
The Tremere Regent of Cleveland, he was instrumental in defeating the Sabbat.
Jobe Erickson
The Ventrue Archon who was killed during the Sabbat siege. Several suspiscious people have shown up lately asking questions about him. Originally from New York City.
Judas
An odd Malkavian who has recently been seen in local convenience stores, screaming at others to get out of his domain. Whatever.
Kreme
The city’s Nosferatu elder, very noxious. Not pleasant to be around at all. Very knowledgeable about pretty much everything that goes on in Cleveland, however.
Richard Houston
The eldest remaining Ventrue in Cleveland, he has been keeping a very, very low profile since the siege. His involvement may be suspected.
Roderick Powell
Houston’s sire and the former Prince of Cleveland who was killed at the beginning of the siege. This Ventrue was generally regarded well amongst the locals.
Veronica Weatherby
The newly crowned Prince of Cleveland, she is a powerful force and a very capable figure. Her Toreador clan misleads a lot of people into thinking that she’s weaker than she is. She co-ordinated the Sabbat siege well, however, and has turned a lot of heads at the upper levels of the Camarilla. Even the city’s most powerful “Anarch”, Xerxes, is under her thumb.
Xerxes
A very powerful Brujah who made the Quarterfinals of the Tontine in 1992. Says almost nothing, communicating mostly in gestures and actions. Can talk when he needs to.
