 The Big Easy

New Orleans is one of the oldest cities in the New World. However, from a Kindred persepective, it has remained amazingly stable over the course of a couple of hundred years. The original Prince, Marcel Guilbeau, still reigns here. He has not had a worthy rival since the Great Depression when his antithesis, a Brujah named Lazio Black, was blood hunted and killed.

The city was then calm until World War II, during which occurred a large scale Sabbat siege. Several Kindred were lost then, including Toreador elder Mychael Zyers and the Nosferatu Phlebus. Since then, things have been relatively peaceful, with the exception of some conflict with several Anarchs in the Baton Rouge area.

New Orleans has 13 street influences which are considered relevant for any issue you may be pursuing here.

Notable Kindred:

  • Clockwood

    One of Griffin's goons, he is notoriously flaky. But well respected when he does show up.

  • Gecko

    The city’s Nosferatu elder. He isn’t seen much and the others tend to defer to him. Makes people nervous.

  • Griffin

    Brujah elder of New Orleans, he arrived in town shortly after Lazio Black was killed.

  • Isabella

    Another one of Manon's followers, she is the only one who is actually his progeny. Her loyalties, although they seem very blatant, are rumored to be questionable at best.

  • Lazio Black

    The former Brujah elder of New Orleans, he was killed during the Great Depression. Supposedly due to a Masquerade-breach caused blood hunt, ulterior political motives of the Prince were highly suspected. Left several progeny behind. Only one, Vincennes, remains.

  • Littrell

    Another Nosferatu who works (for?) with Manon.

  • Manon

    A powerful Follower of Set who runs a small empire of nefarious activities from his warehouse holdings in the French Quarter.

  • Marcel Guilbeau

    The esteemed Prince of New Orleans, he has been around for almost two hundred years and, except for that Lazio Black incident, has ruled fairly unopposed. He is a proud, vibrant man who speaks in flowing words and extravagant gestures. Controls more mortal influence in New Orleans than the next two or three Kindred combined.

  • Mephisto

    A Caitiff rumored to have infernalist ties. Very creepy.

  • Midnight

    A Toreador with a powerful Presence and a keen sense of perception. Supposedly works for Manon at times. There might even be something deeper.

  • Vincennes

    A very strong Brujah Anarch. The last of Lazio’s progeny still remaining in the Big Easy. He is widely known to be in Manon’s employ.
