>> TNM BASEMENT INTERVIEW WITH PETER ABRAM (WEBMASTER OF TNM UK)

TNM U.K Website: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/peterabram

In this Interview:	Peter stands for Peter Abram
			bAz stands for me

bAz: First of all we'll talk about wrestling...How did you actually
first find out about professional wrestling, and who were your
favourite wrestlers?

Peter: I first got interested in wrestling when it became big over
here in the UK. It must have been about 1991. I remember watching
Wrestlemania 7, that was my first taste of wrestling. Over the last
few years I have gotten into it in a really big way as now all the
programs from the Big Three are available on television. My favourite
wrestlers were The Ultimate Warrior and Razor Ramon, but since then I
have preferred the heel wrestlers. I always liked The Rock as a heel.
Now, my favourites are Kurt Angle, Big Poppa Pump, The Dudleys and
Rob Van Dam.

bAz: What in your opinion is the best federation in the world?

Peter: It has got to be the WWF. For pure entertainment, there is none
better. I have watched Nitro recently under the new Bischoff-Russo
leadership and I have to say it is getting better. You'll probably
find the best pure wrestlers in ECW though, I always enjoy the
matches there. I can't really pass judgement on the Japanese and
Mexican promotions as I have never seen anything from them, but I
believe the wrestling in second to none.

bAz: Now onto TNM matters...How did you first find out about TNM?

Peter: I read about it in a wrestling magazine in the UK called Power
Slam. That was about February last year.

bAz: What version did you download?

Peter: TNM7 Build 4.

bAz: What version did you first register?

Peter: The same as I downloaded, straight after the 30 days ran out.

bAz: What made TNM different from any wrestling simulators that
you'd seen?

Peter: I'd never actually seen any wrestling simulators before TNM,
but since then I have checked a few out and there's no comparison.

bAz: What do you think of the recently released Circuit Tweaker?

Peter: I think it is a tremendous idea. I like it because you can now
see how much heat each wrestler gets. It's also useful because I run
a TNM simulated efed and so it's easy to put the whole match details
up now.

bAz: What do you think of Zeus?

Peter: I know a few people that have it and from what I hear, it's
full of bugs. I can't really think of anything that it offers which is
better than TNM, except possible the fact that it has commentary.

bAz: What do you think of the FCA Cubed series of plugins?

Peter: I think they are superb. As you can see at TNM UK, we have
106 FCA Cubed matches available for download, more than any other
TNM site. I enjoy making them, but I just wish that there was a match
highlights option.

bAz: What do you think of the Interview Integrator?

Peter It's OK, but it would be good if you could use it to give
wrestlers injuries if you write about them getting attacked during
the interview.

bAz: What do you think is the best TNM7 plugin?

Peter: FCA Cubed, without a shadow of a doubt. Others that deserve a
mention are ARENA, Brawl For All, Diagnostics Tool and Database
Browser. If you need a bit of comic relief, just turn to the
Scaffold Minus.

bAz: What would you like to see as the next TNM7 match plugin?

Peter: Some sort of lumberjack match, where you can choose the
lumberjacks. That would be good because it could start feuds in your
circuit if one of the lumberjacks interfered.

bAz: Finally we come to the TNM Sites section. What TNM sites do you
frequent most often?

Peter: I mainly visit the sites that are listed in the links section
of TNM UK; I always went to the TNM Warehouse but it's a pity it's
not going to be updated anymore. I also enjoy visiting different
people's TNM circuits. I always check out the official site too.

bAz: What made you want to create TNM UK?

Peter: I wanted to give my efed, the Global Wrestling Federation,
more publicity. I had made a few FCA Cubed matches and I had updated
some of the WWF roster, so I decided to put them up. I got a lot of
positive feedback when I opened TNM UK and my efed started thriving.
I like to think TNM UK provides high quality export files for TNM
and is updated regularly.

bAz: What do you think of the sites that post exports of wrestlers who
haven't even wrestled? e.g. Midian, "Titan" a.k.a Paul Wight

Peter: It's a bit pointless if nobody has even seen the gimmick. I
don't do that with my exports, I only put new wrestlers up when I
have seen them wrestle. Of course, I do have exports of people such
as Trish Stratus, Terri, Jim Ross etc at TNM UK but they aren't meant
to be taken seriously.

bAz: What do you think of the TNM Basement site and newsletter?

Peter: The site is really well set out and organised and I have
always found the exports of high quality. The newsletter is an
excellent idea and I am honoured that I was asked to do this
interview for it.

bAz: And the last question for today...What do you hope to
see in the future for TNM and you?

Peter: Right now, I'm just hoping that TNM UK goes from strength to
strength and I can't wait to make the 10,000 hits mark. I don't think
TNM can get any better but I'm sure Oliver will find a way.

bAz: Thanks a lot Peter for taking part
