Change your Outfits
When you're choosing your character, you can
change the outfits by holding one of the C-buttons.
Compliments:
To encourage your opponent using one of four
lines of praise, push d-pad UP, DOWN, LEFT, or RIGHT during their turn.
Play as Golden Mario:
To access Golden Mario you must first get all
108 birdie badges in
tournament mode (18 on each course). Then when
you access Metal
Mario go to "choose character", highlight Metal
Mario and hold C-Left
followed by pressing A. You will now have Golden
Mario.
