How to get certain characters:

To gain Jigglypuff, beat the game in single player then you'll face Jigglypuff.

To gain Ness, beat the game in single player with 3 lives on normal, and no
continues.

To gain Luigi, beat the practice modes.

To gain captain falcon, beat the game in single player within 15 minutes.

Sound Test:
To activate the Sound Test, successfully complete Bonus Practice games 1
and 2 with all characters – including the hidden ones. The Test Music
option will appear on the Data screen.

Killer tomatos:
First you must have the item select screen.  Go into it and put the item
appearence to very high.  Next turn off every item except for the tomatos.  Now
go into a V.S. battle.  Pick your charactors and then select Link's castle
stage(this is the only stage where this code works)  Every crate, barrel, and
capsule will explode on impact.  This is a very fun partying code.

Item Select Screen:
To get the item select screen you must battle in V.S. mode 100 times.

Bigger Snorlax:
When you know that you have a Snorelax, run to the other side of the screen to
make the screen larger.  The snorlax will fall and he will be slightly bigger,
increasing the chances of him hitting someone.

Tennis:
Get two people as fox and someone as Samus.  Go into a leval
stage and shoot a shot from Samus.  With a fox, use the deflecter shield to
reflect it bak to the other fox.  Samus shoul get out of the way and Fox should
deflect it back.  Soon, the shield will break and a HUGE explosion will occur.
