Majesco brings an excellent looking game to the Game Boy Advance, and it is Iridion 3-D. In Iridion 3-D you are a Star Pilot who has to fight off invaders from another planet. The gameplay is a simple shooter but the Iridion 3-D is still challenging. After a while of the same thing over and over again the game can get a bit annoying, can can satisfy you for a short while. There are no features to make the game more interesting, it's just basiclly flying, dodging, and shooting. But, Iridion 3-D really shows off the GBA's capabilities, because in Iridion 3-D you scroll forward and shoot enemies in front of you, as the camera angle is fixed behind your ship. And the flying halts at the end of each stage to face the stage's Main Boss. Majesco's development shop Pipedream does a fantastic job with the graphics of Iridion 3-D. There is very little slow down. Your ship and all enemy fighters in the game are actually pre-rendered actions, giving them a more realistic look and feal. Plus the sound is excellent.
