Subject: Battle Cry Scenarios

Q: I was wondering if anybody could tell me something about the 15 battles in Battle Cry?

A: Battle Cry Battle Scenarios

First Bull Run (Henry House Hill sector)
(Battle Note, the Confederate will win this one about 60% of the time.)

Pea Ridge (Elkhorn Tavern sector)

Kernstown
(this is for my good friends, Mike and Jim, and a trip we took a few years back.)

Shiloh (Hornet's Nest)

Gaines Mill
I made a mistake on this map when proofing...The water hex, top row, left side
of the battle map, should be a woods hex, not a waterway hex, and the hex just
below should have a waterway hex curving off the edge of the board. I am real
sorry about this error...

Brawner's Farm (Start of second Bull Run)

Antietam
This game showcases the entire battle...
But wait until you see how we made Antietam into a great eight player game. Each side has three field generals and one overall commander (McClellan and Lee). Each general commands his own game board with a new battle map and troop disposition which zeros in on his sector. (It is like having three seperate games going on all at the same time.)

Just like in a two player game the sides alternate turns, with each field general playing one card from his hand. But before the field general's cards are revealed, the overall commander must give one card to a field general, which causes the card he played to be tossed. (The overall commanders also have a deck they share.) Of course Lee has 6 cards and McClellan only has 2 cards. The rest is history...
(In the actual game, the side to win on two of the three boards - Wins.)

Fredericksburg
(I did win once when playing the Federals...)

Murfreesboro

Chancellorsville

Gettysburg
(Devil's Den and Wheat Field)

Gettysburg (Pickett's Charge)

Chickamunga (second day of the battle)

New Market Complete with the VMI Cadets.

New Hope Church
After this game you will understand the value of digging in...
