Tekken History
|
In the early days, I always hated Tekken. It just could not compete with the Capcom games
out at the time. But then, I saw Tekken 2 on Playstation and I became very interested. Gokou and I
sat there and tried to do King and Nina's multiparts because we had never seen that in a game before. So, we sat there (with my GamePro magazine in hand) and played all day long. Then when Tekken 3 came out, I was a Yoshi masher because I thought he looked cool. Towards the end of Tekken 3's popularity, I decided to try to really learn the game because Gokou was tired of my mashing, plus I was out of college and ready to totally waste my time. When Tekken Tag was released, I fully began my formal Tekken training. With the PS2, I hope to polish my skills and continue to play. From now on, the Tekken saga will always be my favorite.....with Killer Instinct coming in as a close second.
