Breakout List

1) Curtis Enis, CHI. Curtis should finally have a year close to what has been expected of him since coming into the league. The team is sound and word is he's been working out very hard.

2)Shaun King, TB. Many don't think he has the talent or preparation to run this team effectively this year. I'm not one of the many. He showed great poise last year and with the talent surrounding him he isn't faced with the pressure of performing at an all-pro level.

3)Tony Banks, BAL. Look for tony to continue the year he was having at the end of last season. When he started for the Rams 2 years ago he had a great year, especially for a 2nd year player. If he had played all 16 games as a starter he would have had over 3000 yards and 23 TD's with about 10 interceptions. Another key stat is his 332 yards and 4 TD game, against the Titan's tough D.

4)Jamal Lewis, BAL. Yep, 2 breakout players on the same team. This isn't really fair since he's a rookie but I think Lewis will have one of the best years for any rookie this season. I have been impressed with his running ability. Forget you ever saw this if he gets hurt, one of the main concerns for all parties included.

5)Joe Horn, NO. Joe has playmaking ability, good speed and a nice team around him in NO. The Saints can;t give to Ricky all the time you know, and Jake Reed should hamper his productiveness at all.

BUST LIST

1)Tim Biakabutuka, CAR. Tim shouldn't be on this list because technically he didn't have a breakout year last season when you consider nearly half his yardage came in two games. Thos two games were against Washington and Cincinnati, two of the very worst run stopping teams last year. Plus Carolina just signed Natrone Means to take away some carries and probably the starting job.

2)Jerry Rice, SF. Age, bad QB, and injury are all catching up with Rice now. Along with the emergence of Terrell Owens Rice's career is coming to a close.

3)Kordell Stewart, PIT. Has this guy ever had a good season? Ya, ok he had a decent season his second year but he has never had a great season and it's a bit late to me to expect a good year. Perhaps a move bask to running back or WR would benefit his career and the Steelers since there is no doubt he has physical abilities.

4)Ricky Watters, SEA. I don't think that Watters will have a horrible year but with the drafting of Alexander the organization has put a lot of pressure on Ricky. Alexander should get a lot of carries and I think he'll be starting by week 11.

5)Raghib Ismail, DAL. There can be only one. Dallas can only have one guy go deep each play and it's apparent that Galloway has the better skills here. If the Cowboys can get Galloway to cross the field, short or deep he could turn into an incredible threat. Raghib is a victim of circumstances in Dallas.
