The Archive is getting a lot of members now, more than I expected at least.  Our newest member, "PeachE" has sent in the first chapter to his new story Terran Pride.  It has a unique format and a plot that will make you thirsty for more.  Go read it.

I meant to make an update sometime Wendsday, but I didn't.  Oh well, I'm sure you haven't forgotten about me.  Anyways, today I present you Glory In Honor another well done story from my secret vault.  It's not written like most other stories you've read so far, but that doesn't make it any less good.  Go read it!

Today, I present  The Price of War by Travis "Hunter" Howard.  I don't know if it was written by the webmaster of Freespace 2 Sector, but if it is, why the hell didn't he post it on his site?  It's actually pretty good.  Now go read it!

Changes (12:30PM CST)

I've decided to dump the review requirement for Membership.  It's mostly due to the fact that I haven't had the time to write reviews myself, so I doubt any of you have time.  If you do have some comments on a story, I will still post them with the story, but it's no longer necessary.  Heck, after a while I may drop the review part of the site completely.  One can never tell.

Hey, how's it going? (12:00PM CST)

Sorry I haven't updated recently.  First of all, there hasn't been anything to update.  I've been real lazy this weekend, and haven't even touched the site.  I'm sort of ashamed, sort of.  Also, I've been trying, in vain, to give my computer more memory.  Unfortunatly, my computer is experiancing "chip rejection," you know, like organ rejection.  I've decided to give up for now on the project, as it doesn't appear I'll ever figure out why it's not working.  Ah, the best laid plans.

Leader For the Shivans (12:00PM CST)

You may not know this, but this is an Archive, and as such, I've made it my quest to document every Freespace Fan Fiction in existance.  With a quest like this, it becomes necessary to pay homage to one of the best.  Yes, I'm talking about Leader For the Shivans, now being featured as the first Non-Member Off site story here at the Archive.  Go relive the experiance!

Story Time! (2:00PM CST)

The newest addition to the Archive is now up.  The Warrior's Goodbye is the first truly short story I've put up, so it shouldn't take long to read it.  It is very good, even if the Shivan theory presented is a bit silly.  Oh well, go read it!

I have now completed the general update to the site.  Now it'll be a breeze to update.  You wouldn't think a webpage would be this hard to deal with.

Well, the requests for Membership aren't pouring in, but I got at least one.  Eric "Stsge0101" Tramel is now an official Member of the Freespace Story Archive.  His story, The Tale of the Armigrad, is now up in the On Site Member section.  Go read it already!

Modifications (11:30AM CST)

I haven't completely incorperated the new sidebar design, but I will, eventually.   It didn't help that last night I found two Groo compilation books.  What's Groo you might ask?  The funniest comic ever made.  Go out and look for it yourself, you'll be pleasently surprised.  Oh, and no, I haven't finished the Links or Staff pages, like I said, I've been busy reading.  Later.

Site Redesign? (11:30AM CST)

You know, it's pretty bad when after barely being open one day that the webmaster already has to redesign the site.  Oh well.  Anyways, I'm going to be making a few minor changes to the sidebar to make it easier to update (for me).

Coming Soon. . . (4:00PM CST)

Sooner or later (preferably sooner) I'll be adding a few new things to the site including a links page (it's a requirement or something), the Staff & Members page as well as the first in a series of articles called the Writer's Workshop.  Of course, I'll keep adding stories, but these are the little extras needed for the site.

Opening Day (4:00PM CST)

Well, here we go.  The Freespace Story Archive is now open.  Now, it's not quite finished yet, but I figured what the heck.  Anyways, many of the links may not be fuctioning quite yet, so if you experiance any problems, e-mail me.  Also, be on the look out for bad images, I want to get them fixed as soon as possible.  On top of all that, I haven't even begun writing a review for our first story Flame Race.  I'll get to it as soon as I can, but I've go a site to get up and going.
