July Monthly Review

Another month, another monthly review.  Quite a few things have happened this month, so I'll try to tell you what's what.

I finally finished the Staff & Members page.  I also discovered, much to my dismay, that I had put up a working version some time ago by accident.  I'm so ashamed.  I am working on the Links page, I've just been really lazy lately.

A new Freespace site opened this month, sort of.  Well, you see, it's not really new.  Freespace Watch, the Descent Chronicals and Restricted Access all combined togeather with their Summoner and Red Faction brethren (funny word!) to form Volition Watch.  I don't know, worshiping a game is one thing, worshiping the company who made it is something else entirely.  But, as I said in the news, I'm not crazy.

We got only two new members to the Archive, and I had to invite one of them.  If you're thinking of writing a story, send it to me, I'll be more than happy to post it.  Well, here are our new Members:

  • Titan
Stories, stories, stories.  While we didn't get a lot of new Member stories, I've continued to link, post or otherwise present a boat load of new stories.  Here they are: Plasma seemed a bit surprised that Phantom was featured on the Archive.  I think I may have even started a short, and unproductive, campaign to force him to finish it.  Somehow, I don't think he ever will.  Also, the Beyond Laramis website went down the week I put it up on the Archive.  Rake is busy redoing his whole site and editing the existing story.  I'll e-mail him in a week or so for an update on his progress.

Well, that's about it.  I should (okay, hopefully) have the first addition to the Writers Workshop this month.  I have an idea on what to concentrate on first, so I'll hopefully sit down an write up something.  Until next month people. . .
