ASMD A-88 "Shock Carbine". The A-88 was designed to increase the power of ASMD rifles. Using a double chamber/barrel system, the A-88 uses the same amount of energy and increases fire rate close to 175% with only a 40% decrease in damage. The A-88 also integrates new ASMD technology in it's E-MSDF firing mode. By increasing the Electro- Magnetic level on the standard plasma charge used in the original A-47, the A-88 creates a high powered ball of charged electro-magnetic particles. These particles are extremely unstable. When passing next to another E-M field such as the one generated by all humans, the particles generate a high negative charge around all E-M fileds within 2.5 meters. This charge attracts charged particles and creates a high energy explosion around the target. The E-MDSF mode requires a 500% increase in energy to fire. ASMD E-87 Mortar-The E-87 is the first weapon developed in it's class. Using technology developed for E-MSDF, the E-87 increased the energy used to charge heavier particles. the energy mass fired from the E-87 attracts heavier particles such as neurons and concentrates them into a high energy core. The core increases in mass and becomes highly unstable. On contact with stationary particles, the core discharges massive amounts of energy in a shockwave that literally dematerializes any non-hardened targets nearby. The secondary fire creates a light tracer particle that simulates the firing of the energy shot. The tracer is used as a targeting predictor, with a 99% accuracy rate in a .02 meter area.
