9/5/00- First of all I want to say sorry for the lack of updates lately. Now unless you've been living in a cave for a month you've heard about the new Nintendo GameCube system shown at Spaceworld 2000. This system is much more powerful and developer friendly than the PS2, and will be fully compatible with the Game Boy Advance. Now, will MGS 2 be on the GameCube? All signs point to yes. IGN and other sites have confirmed that Hideo Kojima is unsatisfied with the PS2 and is interested in other systems as well as the PS2. He's also said that an upcoming Game Boy Color Metal Gear game will connect with MGS 2, obviously GBC won't connect to the PS2, so that's a sign.

8/8/00- Check out GameSpot's History of Metal Gear feature by clicking on the image below. Also there will be a blowout of info in the 'Info' section over the next few days.
8/2/00-The August issue of EGM featured a very interesting interview with Hideo Kojima, to read a transcript of it, head on over to the news section now.
7/31/00-I will try and put up a scanned image of EGM's interview with MGS creator Hideo Kojima in the August issue later this week, but expect a transcript of it tommorow.
Also, I've just picked up the original Metal Gear game for the NES, and it is amazing, especially for a NES game. I have to say, A LOT of what's in the PlayStation version originated in this game, like the Codec, Nikita missile launcher, and even the cardboard box! If you still have your NES, or can get a used one, I definitely recommend trying to find Metal Gear, it's worth the effort. To find out more about the game, join the forums and ask me. Now if only I could find Metal Gear 2: Snake's Revenge...
7/28/00- Finally there's some action here! Now that we have a steady flow of visitors, I want all of the Metal Gear Solid fans out there to join the MGS 2 forums, where you can talk to other people and post your opinions about MGS, its sequel, and anything else. To join, click here. Also, be sure to vote in the polls and sign the guestbook!
