Dr. Wily turn his back on society and his partner, Dr. Light by stealing Light's Creations and using them to take over the world and bring mankind to it's knees, however Dr. Light created a son for him called Rock. A little after Rock was created, Wily began his attack and Dr. Light was forced to turn Rock, into a Super Fighting Robot with several advantages over Light's earlier creations that will stop Dr. Wily in his tracks and send him to jail. He became Mega Man (aka in Japan, Rockman). Thus began the Mega Man series
Mega Man was released in 1987 in the U.S. (and also Japan as Rockman) unfornately Mega Man 1 was not the game that launch the blue bomber's popularity today. The Game feature only 6 Robot Masters, Cutman, Gutsman, Iceman, Elecman, Fireman, and Bombman. Also the game did not have a Password or a Save option in it. In today's world Mega Man 1 would not be review to be a top-notch game. The only thing different out of all the Mega Man games in the series is it had a Score Feature. Capcom ditch the Score Feature when Mega Man 2 came out. However Mega Man 1 was one of the hardest Mega Man games ever and today is scare to find anywhere and is belive to be worth $20-$25 bucks.

Cutman was one of the Six Robots that was stolen by Dr. Wily. Cutman is also one of the weakest robots in Dr. Wily's Army today and is consider the wimpest of them all, but Cutman strives to beat Mega Man and prove that he's the best outta all the Robot Masters.
Gutsman was also stolen by Dr. Wily. Gutsman is the strongest outta Dr. Wily's Army. Unfortanely Wily did not put some brain chips into this robot, cuz Gutsman is really stupid and is also slow.
Iceman is also one of the 6 stolen by Dr. Wily. Iceman may look like a cute little kid in a Snow suit but don't doubt his power. Iceman can use his Ice Slasher to cut thur his oppenents. Rumor has it that Iceman has a crush on Mega Man's sister Roll. Although he doesn't show it in Mega Man (1), but in Rockman: Battle and Chase
Fireman was stolen as well. Fireman can shoot out Flames that are over 360 degrees. Fireman shoots out a Onslaught of Flame waves to take out his oppenents, unfornately, Fireman cannot move while shooting, which is one of his flaws.
Elecman was stolen too. Elecman is the living battery if you will, he can shoots out Electric Waves out of his fingertips to shock his oppenents senseless.
Bombman was the last stolen by Dr. Wily. Bombman's body looks like a bomb but doesn't explode, however Bombman can generate Bombs out of his hands and throws them at his oppenents.
