Fox McCloud- The young leader of the Star Fox team, Fox is always at the front of the team's attack. He is an extremely respected leader.
Peppy Hare- Peppy can analyze enemy weakness and give Fox some good advice.
Slippy Toad- Slippy can analyze the strength of bosses. He can also display their shield gauge on the screen.
Falco Lombardi- With Falco, you're more likely to travel through routes with a higher difficulty level.

Branching Out
In some areas, if certain conditions are met, you path will branch out and you will be able to take a different route.
Corneria: Keep Falco alive and fly through the seven stone archways.
Meteo: Fly through every warp gate.
Fortuna: Defeat Star Wolf within the amount of time you have.
Sector X: Defeat the boss before slippy disappears.
Fly through the four warp gates.
Sector Y: Shoot down 100 enemies.
Katina: Defeat mothership within the amount of time you have.
Macbeth: Destroy the eight switches and shoot the switcher box.
Zoness: Destroy every search light.
Sector Z: Shoot all six missiles.
Medals
If you shoot down enough enemies, you will be able to receive a medal.
Corneria 150, Bolse 150, Aquas 150,

Items
Laser- The single laser will change to the twin laser, and the twin laser will change to the hyper laser. The powered up laser can be carried over to the next area.
Smart Bomb- The number of smart bombs will increase by one.
Supply Ring- Shield guage will recover slightly.
Middle Supply- Shield gauge will recover more.
Shieid Ring- If you get three of these, you will increase the maximum value of you shield and gain health. you can take the rings that you didn't use to the next stage.
Wing Repair- If one of you wings is destroyed, any powered up lasers will be gone and you flying ability will be hindered. By grabbing the Wing Repair, the destroyed wings will automatically be fixed.
Container- Sometimes during the game, a yellow mark will appear at the top of the screen. This means that ROB64 is trying to contact you. Press right C to respond. Shoot the container, to get the helpful item inside.
Vehicles
Arwing- The primary machine of the Star Fox team.
Landmaster- The Landmaster is equipped with a laser cannon and two jets.
Blue Marine- This ship enables you to go under the water.
Great Fox- With its large engine, it can travel quickly between planets.
VS Mode
Up to four players can play in three different Vs. modes.
In Point Match, players compete for the number of machines they shoot down. If you shoot down another player, you will get a star.
In Battle Royal, the last player left standing wins.
In Time Trial, whoever shoots down the most enemies, in 1 to 5 minutes, is the winner. If you get shot down, the number of enemies that you shot dowm resets to zero.
Training Mode
When playing the game for the first time, it's a good idea to select Training mode to geta good feeling for the Arwing. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
