The Rikk is a man on a mission. A mission to get Capcom to release a remix of the original Resident Evil on the Dreamcast. Let The Rikk relieave you now by telling you this page is not going to tell you useless personal facts and b.s. about The Rikk's personal life. No one came here to read or see that. This page is merly here to prevent this campagin's leader from being a faceless screen name or internet entity. All you need to know about The Rikk is that he's dedicated to this mission and won't stop trying until he's achieved his goal. The Rikk realizes it takes a lot of work to create a game. The Resident Evil Remix Project would require a lot of time and energy on the programers part, as they would basically be starting all over. The only thing that they would have would be the basic story plot and other things such as that. We don't want a repeat of the enterteining but somewhat dissapointing Resident Evil: Director's Cut.
As The Rikk sits here and writes this(04/10/00, 1:01 a.m.), The Rikk's webpage is only two days old. Already The Rikk has two people behind the cause and The Rikk hopes many more will follow so we can prove to Capcom that this game would sell well and be beneficent to both producer and consumer. This page is not going to be about flashy web designs and graphics, but rather consentrate on "the mission", as The Rikk calls it.
Just imagine it my fellow Res-Heads...You equip your 9mm hangun and walk into the familar dinning room...it's the same but different...instead of pre-rendered, motionless background, you're surounded by a fully polygonal environment. The candles really light the place, the clock hand moves, and Chris is no longer the blocky hero he once was, but appears as he does in Code: Veronica - a very close replica of a living, breathing human being. Now close your eyes and picture this...you walk around a familiar corner thinking nothing will happen, but you're greeted by an entirley new dialogue secqence with Rebecca or who knows who? Just picture the massive Tyrant-00 in full, polygon terror, frightening isn't it? If you have Code: veronica, didn't you say to yourself as you wondered into the mansion section of the antartic base, "Man, I wish the first game looked like this?", or some likness. After imagining all this, maybe you're on my side, don't care, or think The Rikk is out of his mind to care so much about this. If you're for the cause, then please go to the guestbook and join The Rikk in his mission.
As for The Rikk's attitude towrard Capcom, The Rikk knows The Rikk probably is coming off as pushy or even maybe hostile. Let The Rikk assure you that The Rikk has nothing but respect and gratefulness to these guys and their series. But if there is a large demand for a product from the consumers, isn't it in the best interest of the producer to...produce? Think about this as you sign the Rikk's guestbook and Join The Cause. Thank You.
