Hyrule's RumorvilleFor a long time now, I have been hearing rumors about being able to get a triforce in Zelda 64. Remember, these are just rumors. I've been asking people to send me e-mail about this. Here's one I thought was really interesting:
It was easy! Firstly, you enter your player's name as Link (NB: Capital"L", small others) and complete the game by getting all heart pieces, all spiders, items, etc. and then copy it onto File 2. Then, erase file oneand enter your name as "link" (NB: all in smalls) then re-complete the gameas mentioned above. Then, afterwards, go up to Death Mountain Trail andfall into the hole with the Cow inside. He is now purple and white opposedto black and white. He will warp you up to an absolutly stunning newdungeon called the "Sky Temple". Here, you will learn the "Song of Sages"taught to you by (late) Malon's mother (Standing outside castle in green dress). From here on, you must complete the temple (which took me about 2 hours tocrack, but I'm no expert), then you must defeat Ganon again (it's praticallythe same as before, except he is much stronger). Then you, Zelda and himselfwill combine the Triforce and it will be awarded to you. You go into an underground room in the castle's main room and, using the Lens ofTruth, you will be able to see this hole. Inside is a huge Gossip Stone which saysyou are truly a "Zelda expert" and the Triforce awaits. In the next room, you crawl up a few steps (like in "A Link to the Past") and claim theTriforce. It now is shown on the quest status screen. Oh, Zora's Domain remainsfrozen! Bad news is, my computer isn't exactly the most high-tech in theworld (we can't afford a scanner, so no pictures!) I tried taking some with a camera, but they are too dull and lifless. After you obtain theTricforce, if you go back into the Cow's home in Death Mountain, it will now be anicy cavern with three unicorn(?) faces, each with different expressions.Talk to them and they will either let you go back to the Sky Temple, or simplywarp to different places. Thank you for reading this. Try it, you'll be pleasantly surprised! Billy Lane. e-mail: visionoflove@billylane.free-online.co.uk
You may want to do all that to get the triforce but odds are it's just a plain old rumor. Well, send me e-mail if you know anything about getting a triforce in Zelda 64. Please vote in my pole right down there.
