In 1995 the DCOC executive instituted our own ranking system in recognition
 of attendance and performance on the local scene. It was intended that the
 system be simple, fair and gives everyone something to work for.

The basis for the DCOC ranking is:

The ranking lasts for the DCOC year (Dec-Nov) and entitles players for club
 recognition in the categories Novice, Intermediate, Senior or Veteran.

'Curse Of Eric' Scoring System
1.      Total number of centres held at end-of-game.
2.      Average number of centres held during game up to 1910 Fall (3 decimal places).
3.      Bonus - 5 points for any country not eliminated in a DRAWN game.
4.      Bonus of 25 points for a Win &
	 (a) No bonus for Surviving losers.
	 (b) Surviving losers have half their final centre count
              (rounded up) deducted from their total score.
