Hero_Aragorn retires

Hero_Aragorn the Invincible level 42 warrior retires.

Hero_Aragorn the three dotted invincible warrior came to Deckard Cain the town elder today to tell him this was the last time he would sweep the evil underneath the village. He had done it for over a year now, and about all evil creatures had been whacked. His help was now needed elsewhere, beyond the mountains in the North. He also told Deckard that only Diablo remained. He would go down again, and kill Diablo. Then he would come up again, to have a beer at Ogden’s, and then he would leave. Deckard thanked him, and wished him the best of luck.

Aragorn walked to the portal he had thrown, and descended to level 16. After killing some Advos and a lot of feared Bloodknights, including Sir Gorash, he switched the two levers. Diablo’s Lair was now open!

He came closer and lured out some knights. His mighty sword swung through the air rapidly, whacking all knights of Darkness. Now the time had come to end Diablo’s miserable life. He walked around the corner and lured out Diablo and two Bloodknights. The Bloodknights died and their corpses hit the ground with a thud after a spectacular whirlwind. Aragorn turned his head and looked the big red demon in the eyes. The fierce demon tried to hit the noble warrior, but he blocked every attack. “Come on! Come on!” Aragorn shouted, making the demon only angrier.

The demon got frustrated; he just couldn’t hit the warrior. Then Aragorn began swinging his deadly sword again. The demon couldn’t handle the attacks, and got stunned; he was chanceless against the merciless warrior.

The sword of the warrior became even more red after each hit, and weakened the demon. It didn’t take long before the red fluid out of the demon’s chest colored the once grey armor of the victor red. Its body hit the ground, and the warrior drew his dagger, and removed the red soulstone from its forehead. A few seconds later he saw the corpse of the fallen demon change back to its original form; a child. It was the lost prince! Aragorn looked at the stone, and felt it wanted to smash itself in his head! He couldn’t resist, and the soulstone moved to his head rapidly. Fortunately his Royal Circlet prevented it from smashing itself in his head. The soulstone now got stuck in his helmet, and he wisely took it off, putting it in his backpack.

Aragorn stepped to the child and took the lifeless body in his arms. He went back to town, and buried it on Adria’s peninsula. He placed a small cross, so the townspeople wouldn’t forget him. He then went back to town, to bring the good news to everybody. The townspeople were delighted; Diablo was dead! They organized a big party with the money Aragorn gave them. Not only all townspeople came, there were also many people from other villages. Everybody was happy, and Ogden and Gillian were very busy bringing everybody food and wine.

At a certain point Aragorn left, but nobody noticed. On the edge of town he found Deckard. He just looked at the beautiful sunset. The last sunrays colored the town orange. He told only Deckard now the time for him had come to leave. Deckard thanked him, and told him to take care. Aragorn thanked him as well, and wished him and all the townspeople the best. After a “Goodbye my friend.” He left.

He climbed over a small wall, and went North. Somewhere behind the mountains they would probably need his help. A damsel in distress perhaps, or a dragon that attacked a village, who knows?! His job in Tristram was done. It was time for him to leave. After one more look over his shoulders he disappeared.

The End.
