Maisar on the Road
on the road or in the night on watch Maisar was pretty much the same. Quiet,
and not talking much unless talked to. The main difference between the
way Maisar acts during the day and from on watch is that while it is still
dark outside. He would take out his sword one night, the next night his
bolts a few at a time over the next couple of days and sharpen and check
them. He did this as quietly as possible, so not to wake anyone up from
sleeping. This was, if asked, to keep them in good condition.
Then as the sun would seep up over the land, and spread its light. Maisar
would pull a book from his pack, and "read it". Maisar also thought to
himself how odd it was to put someone so talkative with someone so quiet.
