Tauster stepped back from the door where he had been peering out. "I don't know what you plan to do, but something needs to be done now. I am willing to go with you and offer what support I can. Or I can cast some spells on you that may be of use. I can make a couple of you invisible. Or I could enhance someone's strength. The magical strength takes time to summon. By the time I did that, these others might be awake for questioning. I'm afraid, however, that if you want to have much hope of obtaining the little lordling in one piece, time is of the essence. They will have the same amount of time to prepare that we take in making our own preparations." He looked at them seriously, "Make your decision quickly. I cannot use my more powerful offensive spells without taking friend and foe alike. I am almost useless while they have the boy. If I cast my less powerful spells on you here, I will stay here rather than going."
While Tauster spoke, Kuiper walked over to Gala and spoke to her quietly.
"They'd hear me even if they couldn't see me," Jana said. "And I don't want to take any more time than absolutely necessary. I am, though, more than willing to draw attention so others can get into position unseen." Jana smiled bleakly and waited for the others. "I think though I need to do it quickly." She kept her left arm pressed against her side while they talked.
"They'd surely hear me as well." Blacky said as his armor jingled "Well, looks like we're the front line attention getters, Jana. Not that that's a bad thing. Just tell me where to run and start getting their attention."
"May as well go ahead and paint a target on your back, too," Jana replied with a grin. "We'll doubtless have their attention on the way out as well."
"I can be pretty quiet," Echo said. "Make me invisible and I'll try to sneak in behind the big guys," she smiled at Jana then winked at Blacky. "I'll find the witch and kill her. She's already hurt, and if she dies, maybe that will break the hold she has on Lytern." She muttered quietly, "Then all we'll have to do is get back out."
"Well, I guess it's decided then. Jana and I will draw their attention, Tauster you make Echo and someone else invisible to sneak up on the witch and priest, Gala and Tauster stay here and question the prisoners, and the rest of you fill in the gaps. Have I left anything out?" Blacky said with a grim smile. "Let's make our gods proud and send them to theirs."
Azrun stepped up, "I'll go. I was the one who thought it would be okay for him to come with us. I'll go in with Echo. She can take out the woman and when the others turn to go after her and Lytern and can surprise them a bit more."
Kuiper and Gala whispered to each other for a moment before he leaned over and kissed her passionately. The kiss lasted through Tauster casting an invisibility spell first on Echo, then on Azrun. When the wizard finished his casting, Kuiper released Gala. "I'll go after the priest."
Azrun disappeared, "Ummmm...this is interesting. By the way, where's Jyothki and Arachne? I haven't seen them since Arachne opened her portal."
