Luckily for them, the Castle Guards of Dragon Court and Evil Fred get to have their very own category on the Weapons List. The Castle Guards can only be attacked if you're a Peasant, and chances are, you probably aren't one unless you're a new player. Even if you aren't a Peasant, you aren't missing out on anything because the weapons that are dropped by the guards aren't too exciting.
Half Plate
Half Plates aren't good body armanents because Mythril Mails from the Forest provide slightly more defense and subtract less skill. Sell any Half Plates that you receive from the first Castle Guard for marks; they'll sell for more marks because they come with the Bless attribute.

Full Plate
Full Plates may provide more defense points on average than Mythril Mails, but they subtract too much skill to be effective. And if your character is strong enough to defeat the second Castle Guard or Evil Fred, he or she should be able to pick up the Snake Scale Suits that are dropped by the Medusas in Hie Brasil. It's best to sell these plates for a few hundred marks to Aimee Suitor's Armoury.

Steel Sword
Steel Swords are satisfactory right-handed weapons for beginners, but if your character is strong enough to defeat the first Castle Guard, he or she should also be strong enough to defeat the Giant Rats in the Dungeons. This weapon is weaker than the Rat Tail Whip in all respects and should be sold for a few hundred marks.

Bill Hook
If your character is strong enough to defeat the second Castle Guard or Evil Fred, you've most likely came across better two-handed weapons than this mediocre weapon. Sell it for several hundred marks to Bill Smith and his weapon shop.
