Tips & Hints

When in the map view (close-up of each land), the levels marked with a double border contain access to either a hidden level or secret land.

When you are Jet Wario, you do not collect coins when killing an enemy by running ('jetting') into it, if you started in mid-air.

There is a hidden level in Rice Beach. To find the exit which leads to this level, a switch must be activated which will fill the chamber with the normal exit full of water. This will allow access to the area above the exit, which leads to an exit that will take you to the hidden level.

There is a secret land in Mt. Teapot. To be able to access it, you must be Jet Wario. In the second level (Course No.08), at the end, there are two knife-throwing rats. There is also an 'arrow' of coins pointing up. Jump up off the screen above the arrow, then jet right. You'll reach a hidden platform with a different exit door, which takes you to Sherbet Land (Course No.14).

There is a hidden level in Sherbet Land. It is accessible through level 2 (Course No.15). At the end of the level, when you hit the switch to be able to use the exit door, before leaving the level continue retracing your steps. About 3 screens left of the exit, there were three boxes in a diagonal line, leading up to the left. Now that line is complete, and it leads up off the screen. Follow it to find a different level exit, that takes you to a hidden level (Course No.17).

There is a second hidden level in Sherbet Land, accessible through level 3 (Course No.16). After you come to the sets of spikes underneath a conveyor belts, there is a door. To the immediate right after you enter that door, there is a coin. Beneath the coin is a hidden block. After revealing it, stand on it and jump right. You can walk on top of the ceiling! This leads to a different level exit, which takes you to a hidden level (Course No.18).

There is a hidden level in Stove Canyon. It is accessible through level 4 (Course No.23). On the final mine cart, instead of jumping to the higher platform (which leads to the exit), either jump or jet off the cart onto the lower platform. This way will lead to a different level exit.

If you complete the game with all treasures collected, you will get a different credits screen, along with the words 'Perfect Game' at the end.

Complete list of treasure locations.

Read the manual.
