M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon)* * * * * Magazine: 200 round box Caliber: 5.56mm NATO Effective Range: 500 Meters Accessories: Nil Firing Modes: Full auto Penetration: Medium Cover Stealth: Noisy w/ Flash Reload Rate: Average Notes: This hand-held light
support machine gun delivers a massive amount of firepower to support infantry
squad operations. The M249 replaces the aging Browning Automatic Rifle
and defines a new class of one-man weapons. Being a heavy weapon, the SAW
will slow you down slightly.
Notes: This light support
machine gun is more lethal and has greater penetration than the SAW, however
it tends to be less accurate.
Notes: Lightweight and accurate,
the M4 is used for close quarter combat just like its larger cousin the
M16. In addition, an attached M68 reflex sight allows for effective lethal
fire at a range up to 500 meters. The M4 is gas operated, air cooled and
highly reliable in field use. The Master Key incorporates a highly modified
Remington Model 870 shotgun attached under the barrel of the rifle. Named
for its practical use in opening (removing) doors, the Master Key is a
favorite among Delta Force operatives.
Personal Notes: May I say that this is my favorite rifle. It just outright appeals to me, and I'm not alone on this. Everyone online (Novaworld) seems to have a warm spot for this gun. Its light w/ low recoil and puts out the lead. My only complaint is its low penetration and range. Production notes: The G11 rifle is the result of a joint effort between Heckler & Koch and Dynamit Nobel to produce the world's first service rifle that fires caseless ammunition. The benefits of caseless ammunition include reduced cost, lower weight, elimination of ejection and extraction stoppages, no spent case signature, no consumption of case materials, and smaller cartridge dimensions. The HK G11 is gas operated with a cyclic rate of fire of 2000 RPM, utilizing a floating interior system where the barrel, magazine and breech recoil within a synthetic housing. 50 round magazines and optical sights complete the package. In 1990, extensive testing showed that of 60,000 rounds fired, estimated ammunition failure rate was about 1/485 rounds, with a minimum cook-off rate of 150 rounds at 60 RPM.
Notes: Any rifle with a grenade
launcher is versatile, but this one is even more versatile. The range is
what sets it apart from the OICW and the M4 w/ launchers. When I first
started playing Land Warrior, this was my favorite. It is the standard
weapon of the Austrian Army, the Steyr AUG is a futuristic looking assault
rifle with a compact bulpup design. It is well suited for missions requiring
the maneuverability of a sub-machine gun combined with the punch of an
assault rifle.
Notes: This 7.62 assault
rifle was first used by the Soviet military in 1949. Since then, it's popularity
has grown worldwide, mainly to it's ease of use and durability. In the
field it has proven to be one of sturdiest rifles in the world. Hollywood
has put it in the hands of many bad guys, but why shouldn't they? It's
a cool rifle.
Notes: The
twelve shot revolver on the MM-1 allows for easy loading and rapid firing.
This weapon cause a barrage of hell fire. Great ordinance support for any
unit.

Jackhammer * * * *
Personal notes: A pre-loaded rotating cylinder gives the Jackhammer its relatively high rate of fire for a shotgun. This gun is really awesome in close quarters. It fires in an expanding cone of 12 gauge, and turns its target into ground chuck. The only bad thing is that if you pick this weapon, you basically have no long range options (it counts as your primary weapon). Production

Underwater Rifle * *
Notes: This
weapon is used for underwater combat. Personally I don't like it, it just
isn't very effective.
