Consecrations: What is consecration? Consecration is cleansing of an object that is used in spells, rituals or even the area you are working. Why is it important to consecrate? Well the biggest reason to ready an object is so that it has only positive energy in it. So that your spell or whatever undertaking you are doing is not flawed and works. It is only a way of dedicating your tools for use to the God and Goddess and for no other purpose. This means if you have consecrated your salt, it now should be used only in spells, and etc and not end up on the dinner table later on.
