This is a great game. This game appeared on the Sony Playstation and Sega Saturn. They were identical except Tengu Man's music was different. It featured anime style cutscenes that helped give this game the most story of any Megaman installment. A new character, Duo, is introduced here. He is on a mission to destroy all the evil energy around the world. This game keeps the system of beating the first four bosses before you can fight the second group from MM7. This game also uses bolts for money at the shop, but they are much harder to get. They are hidden in places similar to where you would find E-tanks in the X series. There are around 8 or so enhancments you can get. In the intro stage, Dr. Light gives you the Mega Ball, a weapon. You don't even have to do anything! Protoman makes 2 brief appearances also. Once is in the ending. Wily isn't too tough this time, but still provides a challenge. It's sad that it's been FIVE years since we last saw the original Megaman here in the States. The only place he's showed up is Marvel vs. Capcom. We NEED a Megaman 9! Japan got Rockman and Forte, The Power Fighters 1 and 2, but we don't get crap! To quote professional wrestler The Hurricane, "What's up with that?" Regardless, this is still a great game, and I give it 8.5/10. It plays just like classic Megaman, and sheds some new light on the world of Megaman and his friends.
