As crazy as it may seem, winter has indeed blanketed the landscape and the storms are only getting worse. That however is onl the tip of the proverbial iceberg as it seems that with the changing weather our local wildlife has changed as well.
The other night some locals were resting in the tavern sheltered from the blistering cold, when one accidentially allowed a canine pup to enter. While some tried to coax it out of hiding, a local hunter recognized it as a Winter Wolf pup.
Some of you may know that Winter Wolves are as smart as humanoids, speak their own dialect, and coordinate battle strageties to not only hunt but to also protect their rather large packs.
Ignoring warning from the local hunter the others refused to send the pup outside in the cold until it was too late. The tavern was attacked by a single wolf before the people inside could release the up and barricade themselves in.
Now on top on this deadly cold weather, it seems we are being invaded by a Winter Wolf pack which numbers in the hundreds, who have chosen our home as their new territory.
