These predators scheme constantly to strengthen themselves and fill the world with their progeny. Believing they are the master race, they live for the day Mysteria falls under their rule.
The world is filled with ridiculous rumors about vampires, how they need to sleep in coffins and are allergic to garlic and sunlight kills them. These rumors are entirely unfounded. They do not sleep in coffins, they are not allergic to garlic and sunlight only weakens their powers slightly, but otherwise does them no harm. And although their bite does not turn a victim into a vampire, they do however need the blood of others to survive.
Special Abilities Due To Type:
- Blood drain- This is done like a normal attack and it causes 2d4+ character lvl dmg. The lost hit points from the victim are then transfered to replenish the vampire character.
- Hypnosis- (can only be done at night) Vampire must roll their wisdom. Victim must roll a Constitution check to avoid effects. Lasts 1d4 rnds if successful.
- Limited Flight- (can only be done at night) Done as a normal action, during times of darkness, vampires can leap into the air and travel to distances up to about 100 yards.
Physical Description:
Vampires appear almost to be half-elven, they have humanlike features but their faces are more slender with a higher bone structure. Their eyes are catlike and their skin is so pale that upon close inspection you can see the light blue hue of arteries beneath the surface.
