The Yuan-Ti are decended from humans whose bloodlines have been mingled with those of snakes. Thier evilness, cunning, and ruthlessness are legendary.

Personality:
Yuan-Ti constantly scheme to advance their own dark agendas. They are calculating and suave enough to form alliances with other creatures when necessary, but they always put their own interests first.
Physical Description:
All Yuan-Ti have snakelike features, their upper bodies are human size, when coiled upright they can stand between 6 and 7 feet tall, although their full snakelike bodies can grow to about 12 feet long.
Their heads are serpentlike in appearence with 3 inch long retractable fangs in their fearsome mouths. They have muscular necks, broad shoulders, and arms like a human.
Relations:
Yuan-Ti regard most other races as beneath them, seeing themselves as almost godlike. They sometimes form aquaintences with Half-Dragons, probably due to the serpentine bloodlines.
Language:
Yuan-Ti speak Common, Draconic, and Abyssal.
Yuan-Ti Society:
The Yuan-Ti are devout worshippers of evil. They also hold all reptiles in high esteem. The center of Yuan-Ti life is the temple, and their rituals often involve bloody sacrifices. They have been known to build large catacombs underneath human cities, although they are always secretive about the location of their cities and temples.
