The Blackguard
The Blackguard epitomizes evil. They are nothing short of a mortal fiend. The quintessential black knight, this villian carries a reputation of the foulest sort that is well deserved. Consorting with demons and devils and serving dark deities, the blackguard is hated and feared by all. Some people call these villians anti-paladins due to their completely evil nature.
Requirements:
- Must be a Level 6
- Must be a Fighter, Barbarian, Monk, Paladin, or a Cleric
- Must not have "Good" or "Lawful" or "Neutral" anywhere in your ethic
You Will Receive:
- Full plate Demon armor (60% soak, -10% evade)
- A Greatsword (2d6+4, crit x2 35 hp)
Blackguard Special Abilities:
- Aura of Despair- Once per battle a blackguard may radiate a malign aura that causes enemies within 10 feet of him/her to suffer a -5% attack and evade. Victims must succeed a Costitution save to avoid its effects.
- Command Undead- A blackguard may use this like a spell once per day and control any undead for 1d8 rounds.
- Sneak Attack- (Can only be used in quests) Can be used once per quest. The attack deals 1d2 extra damage per blackguard level. Example- a sneak attack from a level 7 blackguard would deal 7d2 extra damage.
