The Gladiators
Though they may seem like galant warriors, with nerves of steel and the courage of a lion, in reality gladiators are merely slaves. Captured for breaking the law and forced to do battle for public amusement as a means of penance for their crimes.
Requirements:
- There are no specific requirements to be a gladiator.
You Will Receive:
- Temporary banishment from #mysteria-tavern for the duration of your sentance.
- Wrist and Leg irons that are always worn unless doing battle.
Gladiator Rules:
- If you are caught breaking any of Mysteria's rules a staff member may whisper you asking to join this particular storyline.
At no time with any player be forced to make their character a gladiator
If you choose to go along with this a few things will happen.
- 1. You will be temporally banned from #mysteria-tavern and #mysteria-quests. Only to make sure you follow the storyline. (It would look pretty silly if an imprisoned character suddenly showed up in the games main room.)
- 2. You will battle in the arena against NPC's or fellow gladiators in staff hosted combat.
- 3. For going along with the storyline and allowing themselves to be imprisoned, gladiators receive double the xp of a normal duel when they are released.
