The Justice Defender
The Justice Defender is a sponsered champion of a noble cause, an aristocrat, a deity, or a decent way of life. As the name might imply, this character is a skilled combatant trained in the arts of defense. A line of Justice Defenders is a far better defense than a 10-foot-thick wall of stone, and much more dangerous.
Requirements:
- Must be a Level 6
- Must be a Fighter, Barbarian, Monk, Paladin, or a Cleric
- Must not have "Evil" or "Chaotic" or "Neutral" anywhere in their ethic
You Will Receive:
- Full Plate Angelic armor (60% soak, -10% evade)
- A Greatsword (2d6+4, crit x2, 35 hp)
Justice Defender Special Abilities:
- Defensive Stance- This can be used once per day and a successful Charisma check is needed to make it happen. If successful then the defender gains +2 hp per level (meaning a level 6 defender would gain 12 hp) and the defender would also gain a +5% natural soak. The defender is unable to attack if using this and the ability lasts 1d6 rounds.
- Defensive Awareness- To use this ability a defender must first make a successful intelligence check. If the intelligence check is successful then the defender gains +10% to their evade. This ability wears off after the evade and must be repeated each round of battle if the defender wishes.
- Damage Reduction- Once per day a defender has the ability to shrug off some of an attack if it is of massive damage. If the attack does more than 20 hp dmg before soak is figured in then the defender may roll 1d2 to see if this ability is successful. 1 stands for no, if a 2 comes up then the defender may roll a 1d20 to see how many hp's are subtracted from the damage.
