You were walking down the street when suddenly, you were cornered by robots. They all had their lasers locked on you, and the leader said, "You have been chosen to become a new mecha in the great and almighty army of Dr Robotnik!". You tremble in fear at the thought of all your body being metal, and about you obeying that fat eggman. But your prayers for help were answered as a green star was seen far off in the distance.
The rocks began to rise, and jets of air streamed across your bangs from the immense speed that was turning up the ground many miles away. Before your eye had the chance to blink, a green hedgehog about Amy's size was standing infront of you. His quills were back nice and evenly, and he wore a pair of jeans with a chain, a jersey numbered zero, and a cap which was placed backwards on his quills. He stood there infront of you, the wind quickly encircling him. He turned to the robots slowly, and he told them, "You have done enough robotizing for Robotnik, now let me show you why the flesh remain supreme..."
The robots now changed their aim upon the new hedgehog standing before them. The leader called out through his vocal speaker, "Fire at will!". Multitudes of laser blasts then started to come at the green mammal as you darted for safety to watch. Some of the laser blasts missed as others appeared to go right through his body. He stood there, not making a move as the mechas continued their assualt upon him. Suddenly, one of the mechas stopped and exclaimed the ovious, "It's not touching him!".
The robot was nulified by a thick blue ionic beam that came from a larger robot that was stationed behind the others. This robot, disgusted at the attempts of its fellows, vanquished them all to oblivion. It slowly turned to the hedgehog and proclaimed, "I know you have dodged all those laser beams. However, you will not fare half as well against my ion blaser. Your time is up green pest." With that said, the robot aimed at the hedgehog, and began to charged up his gun.
During the time it was taking to charge up the gun, you were yelling to the hedgehog to flee for his own safety. Ignoring your rantings the hedgehog smirked and turned to the robot saying, "I do not need to go to any special height to defeat such a weakling as yourself, but I will do it anyway, as you must learn that the living will always triumph!"
Suddenly, the wind circled his body as flashs of light were emitted from his mammalian flesh. You ducked under some sheilding, in order to protect your eyes from the extreme brightness of the flash. When the flash was over, you slowly peered over from the top of your hiding place, and saw a signifigant change in the hedgehog. First of all, he was not green anymore, rather, he was a golden color. Second, his eyes have changed from their normal green to a dark red. Third, there seemed to be a golden orb that encircled his body. Fourth, he appeared to be floating slightly from the ground itself. Fifth and finally, his well combed quills of the past stuck up in every direction, electrical charges being generated in between them.
The robot was terrified. It slowly began to back off as the hedgehog drew closer in a taunting fashion. The robot gathered its senses and screamed out "DIE!", as it fired the blast from its ion cannon. The ionic beam went strait into the golden orb, only to bounce off the golden shield around the hedgehogs body. The robot, seeing its blast had absolutely no effect on the stranger, turned to run off like the coward it was, but it was too late. The hedgehog's hands were already stuck inside its metallic body.
Pulling his hands out of the body, the hedgehog wripped out several wires with his hand. The robot's eyes slowly lost their glow as the robot fell down. It was about to blow up, but the hedgehog had no patience to wait any longer. Opening his right palm at the robots metal head, he let out a golden beam of energy which vaporized the mechas body into nothingness. He then breathed out slowly, his body going back to its original green color. He turned to walk away but you wanted to know who he was..
"Hey!", you called as you jumped up from your hiding place, "Who are you?!?" The hedgehog chuckled softly and turned around. "You do not really need that information, but I will give you it anyway since you asked so nicely." He then breathed in once as he turned to the mountains. "I am Dash..", he said lifting one foot up to dart away. You opened your mouth to speak to him some more, but he was already gone, leaving only an after-image to mark where he was.
