Sonic The Fighters(Sonic Championship) Was A Fighting Game Kinda Like Virtua Fighters But With Sonic Characters,Sadly It was Only A Arcade That Won't Made That Much.
There's Sonic,Knuckles,Tails,Amy,Robotnik,Super Sonic,Metal Sonic,Nack(Fang),And Bean To Choose From.Sonic The Fighters could of made it to the Saturn,but never did.

Sonic 3D Blast was just a fast remake of Sonic X-Treme,they needed something Sonic so they made this game to tide fans over.
Dr Robotnik had a big plan in store for Sonic.Robotnik took Flickys on Flicky island and turned them into Robots.Your goal as Sonic is to stomp those robots and save the Flickys!
Sonic 3D Blast was almost the same for each system,but there were different special stages for Genesis then Saturn,and Genesis had a different way of telling the story since it wasnt as powerful as the Saturn.
