Brief Comment:

This is one of the better games in this series; it has a fair difficulty and is the only game to have a score feature.

Very poor. This game could use some serious redoing in this area.
4 - 6
Mediocre. Average. Could be better, but could be worse, too.
7 - 8
Very good. Thought was put into this area of the game.
9 - 10
Excellent! This is definitely one of the strongest points of the game.

Difficulty:

This is definitely a difficult game. This game is great for veteran players of the other games in the series. With no energy tanks, or energy pick ups when you need them, this game puts all your skills to the test, including jumping platforms, and defeating bosses with minimal damage taken.
Gameplay:
9
This game offers a variety of stage enemies and traps that actually force the player to think before running in with guns blazing. Level layouts and enemy placement will keep you on your toes.
Sound:
6
The music is not that great, even at the standards for games at that age. Not terrible, just not terrific, either.
Story:
7
The storyline is pretty basic; but still interesting enough to play for stroyline alone.
Weapons:
8
The number of weapons may not be great, but they offer different attacks for different strategies, which is good. The Magnet Beam is a nice addition to have, as it proves quite useful.
Overall:
9
This is a great challenge for seasoned players. Even new players will like this one. It is so good in fact that those new to the series might be disappointed at what follows this installment.
