Harvester has been banned in several countries due to its violent scenes, gore, and general offensiveness. (So you know its good :D) I would not recommend this game for any child. It should be strictly an adults only game. There is a gore on/off option in the game for people who still want to play, but are too gutless to handle the guts. In addition to gore, Harvester does it's best to offend as many people as possible. There are gay jokes, Native American jokes, and jokes against Italians. However, if you look at it as that the game is really trying to make fun of the stereo-types, you really shouldn't take it too seriously. There are also scenes of S&M sex (implied, not actually shown), and scenes of cannibalism (which are shown). This game is for those of us out there who have a taste for horror and truly enjoy the horror genre. If you are a fan of the slasher films from the '80's, you will love this game. If you can't handle any of the topics I've mentioned, don't bother buying the game. And due to Harvester's sick, twistedness, I do not recommend that any child play this game.

One word about the interface, many people have bitched about the clunky old interface, however, the interface in Nine (9) is far worse. Harvester's interface is only a minor inconvenience.

And a final word about the two endings. Yes, they are a bit lame, but I would like to say that neither ending detracted from my enjoyment of the game. Well, maybe just alittle, but not enough to really matter.
