Super Smash Bros. Melee

Secret characters:
Do the following. Then that character will chalenge you. Beat them to make them playable.
Dr. Mario: Complete Classic mode with Mario.
Falco: Complete 100 Man Melee.
Ganondorf: Complete Event 29.
Jigglypuff: Finish Classic mode with any character on any difficulty.
Luigi: Cross the first level of Adventure (Super Mario Bros. Level) with the seconds ending in 2. Example: 03:42:00. Normally you'd fight Mario and Peah but you will watch a cut sceen seeing Luigi beat his bro to the punch. Beat them, then finish adventure mode.
Marth: Use all standard characters in Vs. mode.
Mewtwo: Get up to 20 hours or 700 round in Vs. mode.
Mr. Game & Watch: Complete Adventure or Classic mode with all other characters (including secret ones).
Pichu: Clear Event 37 or 200 rounds of Vs. mode.
Roy: Clear Adventure or Classic with Marth.
Young Link: Complete Classic mode 10 times or more, or 500 rounds of Vs. mode.
Secret arenas:
Battlefield: Finish All-star mode with any character on any difficulty.
Brinstar Depths: Finish 50 rounds in Vs. mode
Four Side: Finish 100 rounds in Vs. mode
Big Blue: Finish 150 rounds in Vs. mode
Poke Floats: Finish 200 rounds in Vs. mode
Mushroom Kingdom II: Get Birdo or Pidgit trophy
N64 Kongo Jungle: Clear the 15 minute melee
N64 Dreamland: Clear Target Test with all characters (including secret ones)
N64 Yoshi's Island: Hit the sand bag over 1312 ft. with any character (hint: Yoshi's air down A)
Secret modes:
All-Star Mode: Complete Classic mode with every character (including secret ones)
Secret taunts:
Fox and Falco have a secret taunt. To see Fox's or Falco's,
play any match on either the Corneria or Venom stage. During the match, quickly press Left, Right, Left on the Control Pad. If done correctly, you
will see a very special taunt!
Random Character select:
When you are at the Character Select
menu, place your token in the bottom left corner (between Falco and Pichu)
or bottom right corner (between Young Link and Roy) of the character table.
The token will automatically jump to a character. All four players and
computers can do this.
Random Tournament Character:
You can play as a
random character in Tournament Mode.
When setting up your tournament, select a character. When it becomes your
turn, while you see the little animation of the character icons moving up
before the battle, hold down L and R simultaneously and keep them held down.
If done correctly, your character's picture will be that of Ditto and it
will say Random.
Organize your trophies:
Simply hold
down the L, R or Y button and your trophies will be neatly arranged in an
oval, triangle, or square.
Start as Sheik:
First you have to select Zelda. Then,simply hold down A right after the level has been
selected until the match starts. If done correctly, you will hear the same sound that you hear when you normally press Down + B.
Victory Pose Selection:
hold down the X or Y button. By doing this,
your character will do a different pose. The button always does the same
pose.
Earn More Coin:
Did you know that the amount of coins you receive after a match is directly related to how often you "smash" the stick during battle? If you want to make easy money, enter the Adventure Mode and make your way all the way through the first level. But before you exit, stand on a secure platform and wiggle the control stick right and left "Decathlon" style. You don't even need to complete smash moves -- moving the stick all the way is enough to earn cash. When you exit and finish the stage you will receive a much higher number of coins. You can do this in any mode or on any level, but you get a lower amount of coins in Vs. Mode (unless all players do this trick at the same time).
