| Name: Jacqueline Marie Renard
Description: Jackie is in her early twenties, but life-experience, wit, and an acute intelligence often cause her to fit in better with a somewhat older crowd. She is tall and slim with long dark hair, and her brilliant blue eyes can jump out from behind her eyelashes without warning. Her striking beauty has gotten her into more trouble than she'd like, but romance is hard to draw out of her. She knows much more about men that she allows them to think, and they may often be entranced by her incredible charm, only to be put off if they get too fresh too quickly. Her untamed spirit is forever enduring, and is only immured by her medical malediction. Personality: One should never be surprised if Jacqueline turns out to be more than she seems. Her eyes may seem to penetrate her soul, but she is adept at keep her innermost thoughts to herself. To pry the details of how her mind works is a task to keep anyone begging for more.

| History: Jackie has lived
in Paris all her life, and has just arrived in London after her mother's
death. Always having believed to be the younger cousin of Dr. Henry
Jekyll, Jacqueline now knows that she is in fact his half-sister, being
the result of a brief affair between Jekyll's father and his mother's
sister.
Jackie now resides in London with her best friend Sybill Hallward. Perhaps they understand each other so well because Sybill and Henry, both inclined to medicinal studies, are obsessed with finding the causes that killed their fathers. Jackie herself is the lifelong target of a rare and mystifying blood disorder, which now has Henry working to help her as well.
