Little Totterington Furry Dance September 2002

Despite rain, the Furry Dance was held on 30th September (the first Monday after the autumnal equinox).  The village fete, held over the weekend, raised £1278 for good causes.  This year the money will be split between St Godolphin's church-hall fund and Oxfam.

The most popular stall of the fete - the clairvoyant!
And, what you were waiting for - the dancers.  And here they are, getting ready in the church grounds.
Finally they are about to dance - the only delay is tuning up the accordion.
Finally, they dance, led off by the mice and horse. Here they are on the edge of the Totterington Park Estate, with the river Ham in the distance.
Later in the dance, when the jester joins in to lead them on to the next site.
