Arcade-style racing

This game is one of the coolest racing games I have played.  The crashes are the most interesting and spectacular part of this game.  The graphics are really good too.  The game was fast paced and the computer opponents make it really fun to race against traffic at 135 MPH.  The game encourages to take risks such as getting really close to other cards at high speeds, driving against traffic and letting the car slide in curves.  Every time you take a risk your boost meter goes up and when it is full you can go extremely fast in this game.

The computer opponents are challenging and there are three different difficulty modes.  You start with five cars but you can unlock more after you complete the championship modes.   You also start with only three tracks but you can unlock more.  The controls are very easy to learn and very responsive.  It takes one wrong move when you are driving at 135 MPH to create an accident of massive proportions.  The game sounds are really good too.  The only thing that I thought was below average was the music during the game.  I just expected more.  The only bad thing is that the game lacks variety.  You can't customize your car and there are not that many cars or tracks (only 14 tracks) to choose from.

The two player mode is also fun.   The screen splits in two.  Player one in the upper part and player 2 in the lower part.  I played this game for hours with my friends and family and they all loved it.  It is very realistic and easy to control

One thing about this game is that whenever you crash, it tells you how much insurance money is wasted on it.  When I first played the game I thought I had to crash against everything to get points.  But later I realized that this was not the point of the game.  I liked this game specially in one stage where I crashed and my car went flying out of the road and down the mountain,  that was just hilarious.  Crashes can  be replayed and saved into a memory card. Unfortunately, you can't crash too much because the game is timed and you must pass a check point in order to continue playing.

I would definitely recommend you to get this game.  It is fast paced and easy to learn.  The graphics are great but the music in the game kind of sucked.  If you are a racing fan or just an ordinary gamer this game will definitely entertain you until the Nintendo unleashes the big names such as Zelda, Mario and Metroid in the second half of this year.  It is a rather short game but it has lots of replay value.  Buy it and get ready for the most intense racing experience of your life!!
