This is the official memory card for the Gamecube. It is pretty small and can store about 4mb of data. It is really great and it can store lots of data for games. You can fit data for around 4-8 games. In some cases such as the EA sports games which require about 49 blocks of memory you will need whole memory card in order to save your data. It is very durable and will save the data you need. This memory card has its advantages in that it can keep your game data organized and if it becomes corrupted you won't lose all of your game data. Otherwise the Memory Card 251 offers more memory. Also one good thing about the official Nintendo Gamecube Memory card is that it fits in the game case's memory card holders and it works on all games. Other third party memory cards can't do this. One important thing to remember is that this memory card sells for around $15 and the Memory card 251 sells for around $20. So I would recommend you to get the Memory card 251 because it has much more capacity. |
