Week 2
Zelda 2 The Adventures of Link is either a game you hate or you love.
The game starts out in Hyrule where, Princess Zelda is in an eternal sleep.
But this is not the same Zelda you saved in the first game. It is custom
that all daughters of the king of Hyrule be named Zelda(You can think that
the Zelda, you are saving in Zelda 2, as the great, great grandma of the
Zelda you saved in the first Zelda game). Now to awake her, you must place
a crystal in the foreheads of the six stone statues at the end of each
palace. There are seven palaces all together, each being guarded by a boss.
Throughout your journey you visit different towns, each having a special
item, or spell for you to learn. Zelda 2 has a lot of RPG elements to it,
such as leveling up your sword, magic, or life and you travel around using
an overhead view. Many enemies also make a return from Zelda 1, such as
the Stalfos, Octoroks, Moblins, and many more. Battles take place in a
side scrolling environment, and start when you touch a black blob on the
overhead screen, enter a palace, or enter a special location. There are
two different types of blobs, the little, somewhat circular blobs, and
a humanoid looking one. Depending on what kind you touch will determine
the level of difficulty the fight will be, the humanoid will make the battle
the toughest. In my opinion this is a great game, and is a must in anyone's
library!
