Manga is a comic from Japan. most Sonic manga is usually an adaption of classic Sonic games like "Sonic The Hedgehog 2" or "Sonic & Knuckles".
This manga here seems to be one of the most official ones, which is an ongoing series created by an artist by the name of Seimu.
 
This is the first part of a "Sonic The Hedgehog 2" Adaption. Tails spots Sonic running by and he secretly follows him. Tails is astonished by the speed of his hero, then the ground starts shaking and Eggman's fortress appears. Tails offers to help Sonic on his journey, and thats the beginning of the manga.
This was one of the only official Sonic manga for a long time. The comic was published as a serial in a Japanese magazine "Shogaku-Yonensei" ("Elementary School"). It was a ongoing series for number of years but ended years ago(5 or 4).
In this sample page, a young hedgehog boy named Little John is eating a hamburger and popcorn, then drops it. The issue is titled is "#6 Save Little John".
  
These are Booklets featuring short stories and news on Sega and Sonic. One is titled "Okuzuke" with Knuckles on the cover and the other is titled "Project Sonic".
  
There are plenty of fan made Sonic manga's. These aren't official which gives them a no rules attitude to creating their comics. Some of the fan made manga usually are for older people. Some might feature Sonc getting drunk and revealing himself to Tails and Amy, which I won't post here(Email me for a few if your old enough).

This Manga right here is very weird. Sonic is in a Elvis outfit while Knuckles wears tights and so on.
