The City Ground - Cambridge City
I went to 'The City Ground' in September 2002, with it being Dover's 3rd away game of that season. Getting into the ground, we parked our car in the car park (as you do) and saw ourselves looking at the back of what appeared to be an impressive main stand. I assumed that the ground would follow this high standard all the way round- I was wrong. True the main stand was very impressive from the front as well as the back but there wasn't much else there. Poor quality terracing and lots of open space.
Not the worst Southern League ground, but not the best either.
