Park Lane - Canvey Island
I had seen pictures of Park Lane before making the trip so I was well aware of its blandness and poor facilities. However, there was decent terracing at one end of the ground and covered standing on the opposite side to the 'main stand' - a few seats half-way along the pitch!
As we struggled to take the photos below due to the position of the sun in the sky, we walked past a fellow Dovorian who commented, "You'd better take pictures of the ground, because you won't be able to describe it to anyone. It's awful!" I'll reserve awful for Billericay but Park Lane is certainly disappointing for a club of Canvey's non-league stature.
Apologies for the lack of a 'main stand' picture, but you're really not missing anything anyway!
